Courtney Milner, Intern

Hey there, my name is Courtney Milner, and I have lived in Tooele County since 2008. I love being able to help people in my own community create meaningful change in their lives. I have been a school counselor for the past eight years, and I found it so rewarding, so the next step in my personal journey is to become a licensed CMHC (Clinical Mental Health Counselor). I am working with Tooele Valley Counseling as an intern while I gain these extra hours.

As someone deeply committed to the transformative power of therapy, I bring a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy sessions. As I pursue my clinical mental health counseling certificate, I’m dedicated to applying evidence-based practices tailored to your unique needs, whether it’s managing stress, coping with difficult emotions, or navigating life transitions. My goal is to create a warm and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create worthwhile changes in your life. Together, we will explore your strengths, challenges, and aspirations, working collaboratively to develop strategies that promote resilience and foster a sense of well-being. I’m here to offer guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear as you embark on your journey toward greater mental and emotional health.
